Hi.

I told my friend Chris that I picked up trash in the past but I haven't done it for a while. I think picking up trash makes me happy becasue I can help make the city cleaner. I told Chris "I haven't done it for a long time; I quite missing doing that". ("That" and "it" refers to picking up trash.)

Is my italic sentence natural?

Trash is AmE.
It is litter or rubbish in BrE.
 
In the US we'd say: "I really miss doing that."
