Hi teachers.

I was chatting online with a friend; we both want to improve our spoken English. But it was getting late and I usually went to sleep at that time. So I said to him "It's late. I think I'll turn in".

Is my sentence natural?
 
Yes, it's perfect. A common variation with little difference in meaning is It's getting late.
