I deleted Alice on an app called WeChat a few days ago and she later phoned me asking why I had deleted her. The reason is because she never replied to my messages. I said “I thought you quit the WeChat”. Is it natural? The intended meaning is I thought she didn't use the WeChat anymore.

The original is natural in AmE (minus the definite article). It's what I'd say (and have said many times).

What does "minus" mean? Is it a verb? I can't find it in a dictionary. I guess it means "leave out". Please confirm this for me. Much appreciated!
