Hello everyone,

I would like to know when to use be or get.

I want to be in touch with Ahmed.

I want to get in touch with Ahmed.

They have slightly different meanings.

I want to get in touch with Ahmed = I want to contact him (now or very soon). You might only want to contact him once.
I want to be in touch with Ahmed = I want to have regular correspondence/contact with Ahmed (now and in the future).
