Please tell me if my understanding is correct.
1) I will have played tennis every day for two years next week.
→ It means a repeated action, playing tennis, will have lasted for two years until next week.
We can replace “will have played” with “will have been playing” here and they have the same meaning.

2) Jack will have been doing his homework for over two hours when his mother gets home.
→ It means a single action, doing his homework, will have lasted for over two hours until his mother gets home.
We cannot use “will have done” here.

Yes to both.

Given the right context I think will have done is possible in number 2, bur the meaning would be different.
