Hello,

A: I know, Jay told me yesterday that Jenny from the Sales Department had given him her number.
B: What did you reply?
A: I said that now he is not just a fibber; now he is a delusional dreamer.
B: If I'd been in your place, I would've said the same thing, I would've never believed that she'd given him her number.

Is the last sentence correct?

Thank you

Hello.

A:
I know, Jay told me yesterday that Jenny from the Sales Department had given him her number. (I don't know why you started with "I know".)
B:
What How did you reply? (Alternatively, you could say "What did you say?")
A:
I said that now he is not just a fibber, now he is a delusional dreamer.
B: If I'd been in your place, I would've said the same thing. I would've never believed that she'd given him her number.

Is the last sentence correct?

Thank you.
Note my corrections and comments above.
The final sentence is OK although most BrE speakers would say "I would never have believed ...".

I wouldn't say he was a delusional dreamer. I would say he is delusional. Or fantasizing. That's if you don't believe him, of course.
