My response:
I'd like to talk about my secondary school uniform bought by my mother. It was a white one-piece dress with a red ribbon near neckline. I needed to wear it when I go to school and during school time. I liked this uniform because I didn't need to think about what I needed to wear every day. I could simply throw it on and head out in a few seconds. However, I didn't like the colour because white is easy to get dirty. What's worse, the fabric was thin so it looked kind of sheer. Therefore, we were required to wear a slip underneath. In summer, it would be very hot. The dress material was mainly consisted of polyester, which has a nickname "surely cool" in Chinese. However, the material didn't do the name justice. I felt stuffy in it in summer. I didn't find it breathable or has any cooling effects.
When I was a child, I thought every school's uniform was unique before I went to a joint-school activity. There, I was surprised to see some students from another school wearing the same uniform. Later on, I found that schools established by the same organisation usually has the same uniform, except for the school badges. One of the reasons we were told to wear a uniform is to identify our students from other schools. Our school used to receive complaints about our students' behavioral problems outside our school. Now that I come to think of it, maybe other people misrecognised us. Maybe they should make the dress more distinctive.
With that being said, I still liked my uniform because it represented my school life and memory. I had really good times with my classmates there.
