Hi,

- I want to know if it is possible to schedule an appointment for next week.

I tried to write such a sentence. I would like to ask if I can omit 'it is' in that sentence.

- I want to know if possible to schedule an appointment for next week.

Thanks.

Not a Teacher.

I think you cannot; you must use the sentence with "it is".

I think 'if possible' is possible in 'if possible, I want to know whether it is ...'

Different meaning.
Surely you can know that. The possibility of your learning that information is not in doubt.

What is in doubt is whether there are appointments available.

You cannot omit the "it is" in your original sentence.

Is 'If possible' used correctly here?
