one of my aunts is so under confident that even if she is travelling by metro she asks someone to come half way "to" or "through" the route "to receive her" or "to take her to her destination."

Please check my sentences.

One of my aunts [STRIKE]is so under confident[/STRIKE] has so little self-confidence that [STRIKE]even[/STRIKE] if she is travelling by metro she asks someone to come and meet her halfway. [STRIKE]"to" or "through" the route "to receive her" or "to take her to her destination."[/STRIKE]

Please check my sentences.

See above. You don't need any of your overly wordy suggestions. If your aunt says "Please come and meet me halfway", the fact that she wants you to then escort her for the rest of the journey is implied.

I have a question. What would you write " half way 'to' or 'through' the way, if you had to? I mean which one is correct?

Neither one is correct with "the way".

Meet me halfway to my destination.
Meet me halfway through my journey.
