Do native speakers say, "I'm finding my spectacles."?

Is the question mark correct with the full stop after spectacles?

Is the question mark correct with the full stop after spectacles? I deleted the full stop as it's incorrect. The question mark is fine.

Perhaps you mean 'I'm looking for my glasses' or 'I've found my glasses' (in BE).

'Spectacles' is not normally used in colloquial speech. I believe AE speakers call them 'eyeglasses'.

Just "glasses" in normal everyday use.

I'm looking for my spectacles. I'm searching for my spectacles. These are not questions. They are statements and do not need a question mark at the end.

I think 'trying to find' makes sense, but I don't know whether native speakers say it.

As a stand-alone statement, that's true. However, the original poster included that statement in an overall question on usage.

"Look" and "find" are the same word in Chinese, so it is common for Chinese speakers to confuse the two words in English.

tedmc, I agree Matthew

They are different meaning in Chinese.
I think you should consult the Chinese Dictionaries.

Please note that the OP is not Chinese although she lives in a Chinese city.
