I'm having breakfast at 7 am everyday.

As far as I am concerned, the simple present tense refers to repeated habits meanwhile the present continuous tense refers to an action at a point of time. In this care, there are two functions. What would I use the sentence one or the sentence two? :-D

1) I have breakfast at 7 am everyday.
2) I'm having breakfast at 7 am everyday.

1. would be the most likely.
There is a use for 2. "I usually sleep in until 10 am. Now that I'm holidaying on the beach, I'm having breakfast at 7 am every day."

It could also refer to a limited duration according to http://teflpedia.com/Present_progressive

I think Raymott's sentence is an example of that.

And it should be "every day" (two words). The word "everyday" is an adjective meaning "ordinary".

This is a common error among native speakers of English, unfortunately.
