What kind of English word could describe a person who can't imagine his life without God, church, and prayers. :?:

There's no word that means that. Do you want a straight-forward word for very religious like 'pious', a pejorative like 'God-botherer' ... ? How do you want to use this word?

Possibly "religious" or "devout".

I was wondering whether the lack of imagination was essential to the definition.

Thank you Raymott, "Pious" I was looking for =)

 A variation - much loved by crossword-setters, though I've never met it in any other context - is 'pi'.
