I received an email recently that from my friend. He wrote the month by using in or on or at. I though something may be wrong but I'm not sure. I'm writing it and posting here now.

If something wrong or ungrammartical, please let me know.

1. My friend eat dinner at 8pm.
2. My friend wrote me that he has pre-ordered the new washing machine and delivery date should be in June / on June.

Distinguish words you are talking about from your question by using italics or enclosing them in quotes.
1. My friend eats/ate dinner at 8pm.
2. My friend wrote me that he has pre-ordered the new washing machine and delivery date should be in June.
Didn't he just pre-order the machine?
