please tell me when preposition' at' is used with LAST and when' in'is used ?

Hi,

It's usual to associate 'at' with 'last'.

'In last' is nowhere near as common and would only be used for instance when you said something quite specific like (referring to a race), 'Mary came in last'.

Regards

Thank you for this question. It reminded me that I wanted to buy Etta James's At Last for my iPod.
