Dear teachers.

Which below sentences are correct ?
1. By climate change, nowadays people have to suffer in the scorching heat.
2. By climate change, nowadays people have to suffer in scorching heat.

I have learned phrases like "in the sun" in the sentence of "kids are playing in the sun" mean a sunny place.
1. So, does above of "in the scorching heat" mean a scorching place ?
2. What is the difference in meaning between above two sentences ?

Thanks in advance.

I would say: Due to changes to the environment caused by human activities, people have to put up with warmer temperatures nowadays.

I don't know whether you are say that "people are suffering in scorching heat" with a few degree rise in temperatures. It could be a welcome change to people in colder climates.
