Which sentence is correct?

1. "In the evenings he rests."

2. "He rests in the evenings."
 
Do you think one is incorrect?
 
#1 would be correct with the addition of punctuation.
 
I'd probably use a comma after evenings, but I wouldn't say it's obligatory these days.
 
I see nothing wrong with 1 or 2, but in most contexts, we would be a little more likely to use "evening," not "evenings."
 
Wouldn't we be more likely to say something like he takes it easy/relaxes/chills out in the evenings?
