is it right saying :

You went to check your eye color in the mirror?
 
in the mirror is correct.

This is a strange question. People generally know their eye color; why would they need to check it in a mirror? Do you mean eye makeup?

Probably, but I don't know whether it's necessary to specify that it's make-up- the sentence sounds OK to me.
