I saw an advert IN /ON your website which .... - are both prepositions correct and equally widely used? (when I googled it I found loads of examples with both, but I need native speakers' opinion too.):?:

I would use "on".
 
So would I, but as this is a very new area of language use, you will see differences until a standard form emerges.
