I have just spotted a word and I am at my wits end whether it is just alternative spelling IRREVERANT, or is it another word with distinct meaning and usage from more common IRREVERENT.

Is there anyone there who can enlighten me on that?
Thanks in advance.

"Irreverant" doesn't exist as far as I am aware.

I would say it's a typo/spelling error. Irreverence comes from reverence, with associated words being revere, reverend, reverent, irreverent etc. I have never seen it spelt with an "a".
