Is the following sentence correct grammatically?


'What I’ve just listened to was enjoyable.'



Context:

[My husband played the violin. And after he had finished his performance I went to him and said the above sentence:]
 
It's fine grammatically. If I were your husband I might feel somewhat disappointed though. How about "Darling, that was incredible! I loved it!"
 
Yes, but it's very stilted.

'That was lovely, darling; I enjoyed that'.
 
Do you often speak to your wife in English?
 
Nice one!

Just to clarify! This is from a literary text and not a real situation!
