Is it possible to say 'remember the knowledge'?

For example, "Let's see if you remember the knowledge from the last semester"

To me it sounds odd, I've never heard anyone use the verb 'remember' with this noun. Is it wrong or is it just rarely used?

No it is not natural English. You can use "remember the information" instead. The reason is that "knowledge" is a more abstract concept implying a higher level of understanding in the learner's own mind.
 
NOT A TEACHER
What I usually hear is, "Let's see if you remember what we learned last semester."
