Some people go for Sunday, some for Monday. There is no general agreement.

I understand that most of Christians think the beginning of the week is Sunday while others are apt to think Monday comes first.

I don't link it to Christianity. Originally, that may have been so, but now it's any number of factors. It just depends.

Calendars printed in the USA start the weeks with Sunday.

Those in the UK start with Monday.
