"Easy to eat type food"

Is the above phrase correct? If so, is there any other phrase or synonym that can be used to replace the above?

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to Using English :hi:

Easy-to-eat food -- no need for "type."

But I don't know what you mean. Easy to digest? Easy to hold (i.e., "finger food")?

Can 'easy-to-eat' mean 'that can be eaten without chewing'?

Thanks for the quick reply. I mean the same. :)

The same as what? Easy to digest? Easy to hold? Easy to chew?

A better title would have been Easy to eat type food.
