We have no common interests. And there is no point in being connected. I feel/think that it is a wise decision to unfollow you.

I am going to unfollow someone on Twitter. And I would like tell them why I am going to unfollow them stating the above-mentioned reasons. Are those sentences correctly written?
 
We have no common interests ​(no full stop here) [STRIKE]And[/STRIKE] so there is no point in being connected. I feel/think that it is a wise decision to unfollow you.

Note my suggested amendment above. The final sentence is a little wordy but not ungrammatical.
