[A and B are at home and discussing to order pizza from a pizza shop.]

A: Why don't we order the pizza sets on Sunday.
B: It's more expensive. We need to pay additional charges.

B: They're more expensive. We need to pay additional charges.

In the above dialogue, should we say 'It's' or 'They're'?

Thanks.

You could use either.

They're more expensive = The pizza sets are more expensive on a Sunday.
It's more expensive = It is more expensive to order pizza sets on a Sunday.

Out of curiosity, what is a pizza set?

Thanks ems.

A pizza set includes soup and soft drink.

In the UK, that's usually a "meal deal" although I've never seen pizza that comes with soup! Usually it comes with a side of garlic bread or potato wedges or similar.

Hi, ems.

In Hong Kong, we can find pizza sets that come with soup.

Super Supreme Mini Pizza
(Pan® / Thin‘N’ Crispy® Pizza Base)

With Soup of the day or Salad
$61

This is known as a "combo" in the US. (I mean when you pay one price for the main item, side and drink.)
