I have this question in a text book.

'I'm going to the carrebein this summer'.

There are then 2 possible follow on senteces.

a. It will be my first visit.
b. It's going to be my first visit.

The book says 'A' is correct. I would agree. It sounds correct to me. But why is 'b' not correct? Following grammar rules 'going to' should be acceptable, as it is a planned action.
Any ideas?

I have found this question in a text book.

'I'm going to the carrebein Caribbean this summer.'

There are then 2 two possible follow-on sentences.

a. It will be my first visit.
b. It's going to be my first visit.

The book says 'A' is correct. I would agree. It sounds correct to me no full stop here but why is 'b' not correct? Following grammar rules, 'going to' should be acceptable, as it is a planned action. Any ideas?
Please note my corrections above. Both a) and b) are acceptable follow-on sentences. I'm not surprised the text book got it wrong given how they think "Caribbean" is spelled!!
