Hello,

I found this article in the reading book but I can't understand the underlined sentence.

As a foreigner in Thailand, I’m not encumbered by cultural restrictions on speaking out about discomfort,
and we have to say that the noise here is louder and more pervasive than what we hear in our
home countries.
To spend any time in Thailand, one must be inured to loud noise or it would be like walking through a
blizzard dressed only in pajamas.
Neither are monks nor their temples exempt from loud noise. One may wonder
how they could meditate, Thai shopping malls are like oversized boom boxes.

As I understand it would be like walking through a blizzard dressed only in pajamas. = it would be like walking through a blizzard which are dressed only in pajamas.
>>Is my understanding about Adj. clause correct ? It'impossible that a blizzard dressed pajamas.
What is the part of speech of "dreesed" ?
How do blizzard and pajamas relate to loud noise in thailand ?

Walking through Thailand without being inured (accustomed to something unpleasant) would be like walking through a blizzard in only your pajamas: uncomfortable, very miserable, and potentially life-threatening.

No native speaker would be confused,

Unless they're already into the second stage of hypothermia, induced by their winter stroll in sleepwear.
