There's song in my song list. I think it's melodious. Since I'm not a music student, I don't know how to describe a song. When I recommend the song each time to my friends, I say "It's a very tuneful song".

I wonder if it's natural to say it.

Here's the song I mentioned.

It's not wrong but it's not particularly complimentary (I don't mean that it's uncomplimentary, just that it doesn't make it sound especially appealing).

It has a beautiful melody.

I appreciate your prompt reply, kindness and patience. I wonder if you native speakers would say "It's a melodious song" or something similar if you want to express "It has a beautiful melody".

"Melodious" isn't a word most native speakers would use in everyday speech. It sounds rather old-fashioned to me.

Since I'm not a music student, I don't know how to describe a song.

In music theory, there's something called harmony. I'd say it's harmonious. It is a beautiful song by the way.

Interestingly enough, Google defines harmonious as:

harmonious /hɑːˈməʊnɪəs/
adjective

tuneful; not discordant.
"harmonious music"
Now I'm wondering if tuneful also refers to the properties described by harmony. Could anyone with knowledge in music theory confirm?

We're talking here about melody, not harmony.

There's nothing particularly positive about melodiousness in itself. There are plenty of very melodious songs that I don't like at all. However, I assume that you want to say that you like the melody/melodiousness of the song, so I'd suggest this:

It has a nice melody.

The word nice expresses your opinion about the melody. If you merely want to describe the song without using an opinion word, you could say:

It's very melodious.

Does soulful count?
