What is the meaning of "It's almost enough":

It's almost enough to make a White House reporter want to take what the press secretary says at face value.

Need more examples of its usage, please.

Hello, Greenisgood.

(1) It is not enough, but it is a-l-m-o-s-t enough!!!

(2) Here are some examples: (I got these ideas from the Web)

My computer gives me so much trouble when I want to

write a letter. It [having troubles with the computer] is

almost enough to make me buy a typewriter. But it is

not enough. I will continue to use my computer. I do not

dislike my computer that much that I would ever use a typewriter.

(All my friends would laugh at me!!!)

***

I belong to political party X. But some party X politicians are

really saying and doing crazy things. It is almost enough to make

me want to vote for political party Z. But it is not enough. I do not

dislike party X that much that I would ever vote for party Z. (I will

dislike party Z until my dying day.)

***

I hate to cook. But I saw some beautiful aprons on sale. It is almost

enough to drive me to the kitchen to cook so that I can have an

opportunity to wear one of those "cool" aprons. But it is not enough.

I am still too lazy to cook. Those aprons are very "cool," but they are

not that "cool." (I do not care how "cool" those aprons are. I will never

stand in a hot kitchen cooking food.)

THANK YOU
