If a friend says, “I’ve just bought a present for my brother,” what questions about the present would a British person naturally ask?

What have you bought?
What did you buy?
Is it his birthday?

Thanks, I really appreciate it!

Just wondering, is it okay to ask the price?

It is possible if you know your friend well, but you are highly unlikely to ask the price before you know what the present is.

Thanks for taking the time to answer my question.
