Jamaica is a country of nice people, gifted musicians and some talented players, but when watching at (or regarding?) the often chaotic circumstances in the JFA administration, I doubt that significant progress in climbing (higher?) in the FIFA world rankings can be done in (the?) near future, not even with a coach like Winfried Schäfer.

Please check if my sentence is correct or should be reworded.

I doubt that significant progress in climbing in the FIFA world rankings can be done in the near future even with a coach like Winfried Schafer.

Now you write the sentences you want to precede that one.

In Tarheel's version, I wouldn't use "that significant progress ... can be done", I'd use "... can be made".
