I am watching a James Bond 007 film "No time to die" with subtitles. I noticed the following:

524
01:00:42,856 --> 01:00:45,119
So, where are we going?

525
01:00:46,730 --> 01:00:48,079
Get in the plane, Doctor.

Shouldn't it be:
Get ON the plane, THE doctor.??

Is it a small plane? We're more likely to use in if it's a small, light aircraft.

We certainly don't use 'the' when we are addressing a doctor.

Yes, it was a small plain, thank you.

A homophone mistake- they're easy to make.

... but not when the correct spelling is right there in the thread title.
