People from certain Chinese provinces have their specific terms in English: people from Guangdong (old name: Canton) are called Cantonese, from Taiwan are called Taiwanese, from Shanghai are called ShanghaiNese (this one feels somewhat strange to me, though. Maybe Shanghaiist or Shanghaier is better?), from Xizang (old name: Tibet) are called Tibetan.
So what would you call people from Jiangsu, Anhui, Xinjiang, if you want to call them in a single word respectively?
Jiangsu/Anhui/Xinjiang -er? -an? -ist -ite? -ese? (-i? -ish?)
