Could you, please, tell me which is correct:

Judge someone by their appearance(s) or on their appearance(s)?
I've seen both:

Do we judge people by their appearances?

They judge your on your appearance

It's usually in the singular.

Do we judge people by their appearances?

You may hear: "You shouldn't judge people/someone by their appearance."

They judge you on your appearance

You may hear: "They judge you based on your appearance."

Without a word like their, it is often used in the plural- Never judge by appearances.
