“Martin Gruber chews with his mouth open and likes to juggle his glass eye.”

I found this while I'm reading Whitehead's The Intuitionist.

I can’t imagine how to juggle glass eye. Does it literally mean tossing glass eye?

I guess so-he would need to be blind to juggle both glass eyes.

I would assume that he removes his glass eye and throws it up and down in his hand, either on its own or actually juggling it and some other item.

A one-ball juggler wouldn't be very impressive. 🙂
