Hi. I'm writing a script:

Tom is in the kitchen making breakfast - eggs, bacon, pancakes, you name it... Laura comes down the stairs.

TOM: Morning.
LAURA: Morning. Something smells good down here. What are you doing?
TOM: I'm just making a little breakfast for my beautiful wife and daughter.
LAURA: Yeah? Looks good.
TOM: I thought I'd spoil you a little.

Laura kisses him, then --
LAURA: I'll go wake up Jessie.

QUESTION: Is 'a little' perfectly natural here?

It's OK.

That's a great use of 'little' in British English as it is being used in an ironic way to reflect that actually it's quite a big breakfast. Great natural speech,Well done!
