In the test the child was given a sentence:
The business usually .... (make) money, though it......... (do) very badly just now.
The child opened the brackets:
The business usually makes money, though it is doingvery badly just now.
The teacher marked "is doing" as a mistake and explained that "just now" is used only as a past tense marker.
The business usually makes money, though it did very badly just now.
My comment that "just now" refers to both present (at this moment) and past (a few moments ago) wasn't taken into account.
Which one is correct?
