Is it natural to say "someone lacks the humility to listen"?

Is this okay?

Gonzalo lacks the humility to listen to his employees. He thinks he can single-handedly run the company and I think his disinterest in listening to the voices of his subordinates will bring about his demise.

It's OK but I'd use "respect" instead of "humility". Also, I'd use "staff" (or repeat "employees") - I really dislike the term "subordinates". It sounds really snobby!

It's okay. You need a comma after 'company' however.

They're both used.
