Hi, I got a question while I was watching some Lectures and TV shows.

They said "Let's get started" and "We should get going."

What is different between 'get started' and 'get going'?

Is it wrong to say 'Let's get starting' or 'We should get gone?'

It seems awkward to say that way, but what is rule on those sentences?

Thanks for your help :)

What is your native language and where are you located?

Oh, thanks for the correction. I'm always confused noun and adjective form of that.

By the way, I want to know the difference between '-ing form' and 'past participle' form is used after 'get', grammatically.
