Hi,

i wonder what is a letter called to invite staff to a meeting. Does anyone know?

Thanks

Ok, because I've heard people at my office say calling letter.

Maybe "memo," short for memorandum.

Hi,

IMO, both "memo" and "memorandum" sound too "big", unless the staff are being invited to a meeting with "the upper echelons of the company" ;-)

I've never heard an invitation called a calling letter, and I'm wondering why TheParser likes it.
