Dear all,
This is my first post in here. Thanks in advance to all for reading and also for those providing answers to my question. Here it is:
I know how to make a list by sequencing words (First, Second, Then...) and also I know that lists can be done using numbers (1,2,3...). However is it correct and common to use both at a time or is it redundant?
Ex: For doing this we need to follow the following steps:
1. First we...
2. Second we...
3. Then...
4. Next...
5. Finally...
One more small question: Is it correct to say: "We do this by following the following steps:" For some reason it might sound strange too many "followings together".
Thanks!
