I think you meant, "Long time no see."
Strictly speaking, it is not grammatical, but as a cliché, it is commonly used to express, "We haven't seen each other for quite a while."

I agree with your answer. I did have a friend, however, you used to say "No time, no see" when he had just seen me. It was his joke.
