Look for the competition's booths

Hi teachers,

This quiz is from a Longman's TOEIC book:

While you're at the conference, take an afternoon to ---- and check out the competition's booth.
(A) look out
(B) look around
(C) look for
(D) look through

The book says (B) is the correct answer and that's really understandable, but how about (C)? There might be a lot of booths in the conference and the person has to locate his/her competitors' booths among them.
Would you tell me why (C) can't be the answer or why (B) is better than (C)? I feel like both can be the answer.

I think both B and C are possible.

This kind of quiz really confuses me...:-(
My first choice was (B), but when I read it once again I thought (C) could be an answer as well... And The book doesn't have any explanations for it...

It's not a good quiz.

You would normally "look around" at a convention. See what all is being displayed. Maybe see some new product or vendor you didn't know about. You would also check out the competitor's booths. It's two things.
