Look wise = smarty-pants or smarty? Are they normal phrase? And how to use them?

Thanks!

Hiya Raymond, I've never heard of 'look wise' meaning 'smarty-pants'.

What makes you think it might?

Maybe just another Chinglish phrase like 'good(好)good(好) study(学习), day(天) day(天) up(向上)' which actually means 'study hard and make progress every day'.But it's incorrect while 'long(好长) time(时间) no(不) see(见)' is totally correct.

To be honest, this sounds like roaring 30s Chicago gangland cant.
