Hi there. Would you please proofread the following text? Any help would be appreciated.

****************************************************************************

Qingmei didn’t get an opportunity to let Yang in on what her parents had done in orchestrating their meeting as children until he came by to escort her to the fifth-day dinner. On the walk over to his home, she said, “Yang, I only found out after you left my house, that my parents organised my training with Lili so that you and I might become friends… hopefully, more.” She said it without hesitation, worried she might lose her nerve, and waited for his reaction.

Yang stopped, and to her surprise, he laughed. “I was wondering, also, how to tell you a similar story; that our meeting, was fated. My sister, as you know, can dream the future. She dreamed of our daughter first, and sometime later she dreamed of you. Lanhua told me of our daughter, but not of you. My father forbade it even before she had the dream. When my mother and then my father encouraged this dinner, I guessed it is you, but I didn’t know when the best time to tell you about it would come, until now.”

Qingmei opened and closed her mouth several times to speak, but no words came, then finally. “Your sister, dreamed me?”

Yang replied. “She dreamed of us, as a family, even Moogh is with us.”

Qingmei said, “Kiss me. I want you to kiss me; before we go any further.”

Yang turned to face her, and her, him.

Qingmei didn’t get an opportunity to let Yang in on what her parents had done in orchestrating their meeting as children until he came by to escort her to the fifth-day dinner. [What's a fifth-day dinner? We don't have that expression in English.] On the walk over to his home, she said, “Yang, I only found out after you left my house[STRIKE],[/STRIKE] that my parents organised my training with Lili so that you and I might become friends… hopefully, more.” She said it without hesitation, worried she might lose her nerve, and waited for his reaction.

Yang stopped, and to her surprise, he laughed. “I was wondering, also, how to tell you a similar story; that our meeting, was fated. My sister, as you know, can dream the future. She dreamed of our daughter first, and sometime later she dreamed of you. Lanhua told me of our daughter[STRIKE],[/STRIKE] but not of you. My father forbade it even before she had the dream. When my mother and then my father encouraged this dinner, I guessed it was you, but I didn’t know when the best time to tell you about it would come, until now.”

Qingmei opened and closed her mouth several times to speak, but no words came, then finally. “Your sister, dreamed me?”

Yang replied. “She dreamed of us, as a family, even Moogh is with us.”

Qingmei said, “Kiss me. I want you to kiss me; before we go any farther” [Farther is for distance, further is for degree. If you mean Q. wants to stop walking and smooch, use farther.]

Yang turned to face her, and she, to him.
It's good.

Here 'the fifth-day dinner' refers to the Friday dinner in Chinese culture.
