Please find attached the pro-forma invoice, and kindly make the payment.

Please advise us of the quantity you are looking for.
.

Thank you.

What if I want to write make the advance payment?
Should it be "make an advance payment" or "make the advance payment".

Thank you.

What if I want to write "make [STRIKE]the[/STRIKE] an advance payment?"
Should it be "make an advance payment" or "make the advance payment".
If you've already mentioned (talked about) "advanced payment", then use "the"; otherwise, use "an."

Note the quotation marks Teechar added. They are required to mark words you're talking about but which aren't themselves part of a sentence.

Re: Make / the quantity

Is there any other way to ask the same question?

"Please advise the quantity you need."
"Please advise the quantity you require so that we can send you a competitive price."

"Please advise the require quantity ....."

If asked products are more than one, can I write "the quantities"?

Re: Make / the quantity

'Please let us know what quantity is needed.'

'Please tell us what quantities you require.'

Re: Make / the quantity

'Please let us know what quantity is needed.'

'Please tell us what quantities you require.'

Then my complete sentence will be " please let us know what quatity you require so that we can send you a competitive quote".

Is that correct?
