I made up this sentence. For example: You don't have many chances of becoming a president.
Wouldn't it be better to say: You don't have a big chance of ... OR You don't have much of a chance of ... OR You don't have much chance of ...

Most people don't have much chance/ much of a chance of becoming President.
However, some people, especially those from very wealthy, well-connected families, may have a chance. They don't, however, have too many chances. Richard Nixon had two chances; this is unusual.
