Hi everyone,
I heard the following phrase from a non-native speaker. She said "the market is dry now".
She meant there is not a lot of buying and selling due to a recession. She was in real estate business.
I was wondering if this phrase is used by native speakers. if not, what do they use if there is not much activity in buying and selling in a particular market?
