Dear All,

I would like to have an expert view on the structure of the following question. Thank you all in advance.

X-ray machines aren't used __________.

a. in hospitals c. at airports
b. in factories d. None of the above

Is it possible to make a statement like this?

X-ray machines aren't used [STRIKE]nowhere[/STRIKE]. anywhere.

Thanks

If you want to use nowhere you should rephrase the sentence: X-ray machines are used nowhere. This is, however, an alternative which doesn't sound natural to me, although native speakers will be more reliable on this last aspect.

Hope it helps.

Greetings,

What do you mean by 'the structure of the following question'? It's not a question at all.
