[Idiom] Meaning of "Send it on"

Could you please tell me the meaning of "send it on, (on and on)"?

According to English-English dictionary, "send on" states "send or ship onward from an intermediate post or station in transit".
But to me, the sentence fits more like "keep sending" or "do not stop sending".
I am not sure, though...
